1. About these Terms

These Mog Stars Terms of Service ("Mog Stars Terms") govern your use of Mog Stars, a live 1v1 face-battle game operated by FaceIQ Labs, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("FaceIQ Labs", "we", "us").

The FaceIQ Labs Master Terms of Service also apply to your use of Mog Stars (account, billing, intellectual property, governing law, dispute resolution). Where these Mog Stars Terms conflict with the Master Terms with respect to Mog Stars features, these Mog Stars Terms control.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 years of age or older to use Mog Stars. By entering the Arena you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older. You must be the sole authorized user of the Google account used to sign in. We may suspend or permanently ban accounts that breach these Terms or that we reasonably believe have engaged in cheating, harassment, impersonation, or any unlawful conduct.

3. How matches work

• Mog Stars matches are live and face-to-face: both players' cameras are streamed to the other player for the full duration of the match.
• We process facial geometry from your camera in real time to score each match. See the Mog Stars Privacy Policy for full detail and your separate biometric consent.
• Matches are publicly visible by design. Other players, spectators, and FaceIQ Labs may capture or record matches. By entering the Arena you accept that your face and handle may appear in such recordings, on social platforms, and in Mog Stars promotional material.

4. The Mog Card collection

At the end of each match, the winner receives a "Mog Card" that depicts the loser's face and match score. Mog Cards are added to the winner's permanent collection and may remain visible to that player and to spectators of their profile indefinitely.

By entering the Arena you grant FaceIQ Labs and other Mog Stars players a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, store, and distribute Mog Cards generated from your matches solely for purposes of operating Mog Stars (collection display, leaderboards, replays, and related features). This license applies only to Mog Cards generated from matches you played; it does not extend to your underlying biometric data, which is governed by the Privacy Policy and your separate biometric consent.

You may withdraw consent for future matches at any time by deleting your account (Section 8). Mog Cards already collected by other players are not retroactively expunged from their collections, but we will, on request, remove your face image from public surfaces under our control and replace it with an anonymized placeholder.

5. Acceptable conduct

• No minors visible on camera. If anyone under 18 appears in your video, the match is forfeit and your account may be banned.
• No impersonation, no using another person's likeness without their consent.
• No image overlays, deepfakes, virtual cameras, or any technology that misrepresents your live face.
• No harassment, hate speech, sexually explicit content, or threats. Public chat and voice are subject to moderation.
• No automation, multi-accounting, IQ manipulation, or other forms of cheating.

6. Reporting and enforcement

You can report a player or match in-product. We review reports and, at our sole discretion, may issue warnings, reverse match results, remove content, suspend, or permanently ban accounts. Repeat or egregious violations result in permanent bans. We may cooperate with law enforcement where legally required.

7. Disclaimers

Mog Stars is provided for entertainment purposes. Match scoring is an algorithmic measurement and is not a medical, psychological, aesthetic, or professional judgment about you or any other player. Nothing in Mog Stars is medical advice. You use Mog Stars at your own risk and are solely responsible for the camera environment you choose to broadcast from.

8. Account and data deletion

You can request deletion of your Mog Stars account and associated data at any time via in-product settings or by emailing privacy@faceiqlabs.com. Deletion ends future use of Mog Stars and removes your profile, biometric data, and historical match snapshots from our active systems. See the Mog Stars Privacy Policy for retention details and the limited carve-outs that apply (e.g. backups, legal holds, and Mog Cards held by other players, which are anonymized rather than retroactively expunged).

9. Liability and indemnification

Liability and indemnification are governed by the corresponding sections of the FaceIQ Labs Master Terms of Service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FaceIQ Labs is not liable for content broadcast or recorded by other players, for the behavior of other players, or for any third-party recording or redistribution of public matches.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Mog Stars Terms from time to time. For material changes — including any change to how biometric data is processed, shared, or retained — we will require you to review and re-accept the updated Terms before continuing to play.
